Might be an old inline fuse holder that's just filthy like the rest of the car. Ugh. Didn't bother to check. Hopefully I'll never see it again.

I once ran a cable between my fender and door, then in through the door harness hole because the firewall was inaccessible. After that I've tried to run them as pro as possible.
